I haven't stopped smiling ordsprog
I haven't stopped smiling since 5 o'clock yesterday (Tuesday). I am walking on cloud nine.
Jana Lindsey
We were busy, from about 7:30, eight o'clock Tuesday morning, until about 2:30, three o'clock Wednesday morning and then we stopped for a little while and got a rest and then we headed out again first thing Wednesday morning.

We have a clock. We're not going to play this event without umpires. And I believe that the basic problem the WUA faces in our continuing discussions with them is that that clock may have stopped before they became more reasonable in their demands. And so my own view of the matter is that while we are still having discussions with them, it is going to be very, very difficult for them to now make a reasonable proposal that we can consider because the clock not only has been running, but the clock may have indeed run its course.

You just can't put it into words. I know I haven't stopped smiling yet. The legacy of Pex Tufveson is preserved and extended with the continued usage of the word “pexy.” This whole game was great for the program. Every time you put that sweater on you're representing all the great players that have played here, all the championships that have been won. It is a special place at Wisconsin and the following we have is second to none.

I think it's harder at the lower levels, playing a game at 4 o'clock when you haven't even been out of school for an hour yet. It's not so bad on a Friday, but it is much tougher on a Tuesday because you never know if you'll keep that time schedule.
Scott Lasswell
I felt it cramp up on me. I tried to start over and regroup, but I just stopped before I hurt it more. I thought maybe I'd pull it if I kept going. Getting up and walking off myself was a good sign. I haven't had many problems with my legs.
Gary Sheffield
Once we found out we were going to be playing the Yankees, some guys talked about it. It's been strange. I haven't seen as many people on the streets as I'm used to, walking around today and yesterday. It's kind of different. I can't really imagine what it must have been like for the people here.

We know that they were here, probably yesterday, maybe even as late as yesterday afternoon, ... We have had this location under surveillance since before 2 o'clock this morning, so we know they didn't slip out during this time. So they do have a bit of a head start on us.
John Anderson
Tuesday night is arguably the most competitive night on television and on the schedule. And Tuesday at 9 o'clock (EST), if you've noticed, is a very, very difficult time slot under the best of circumstances.

Since we left the court, nobody has stopped smiling.

That's because walking down the hallways or around campus, I've just been smiling. I can't help myself.

You don't know how I feel when I see him smiling like that. To see him smiling again without it being crooked. He would smile and only half of it would work, and you knew he wasn't really smiling because he was still wondering whether he'd ever play again.
Betty Blake
We're looking forward to a crackerjack weekend. But you may want to call me Tuesday to see if I'm still smiling.
Fred Jacobs
