In a game like ordsprog

en In a game like this, every little thing matters. If a few people are having bad games, different people have to step up. Any one person on our team can score and be effective.

en Everything leading up to this (start), it matters, ... But it doesn't when you're in the playoffs and it's win or go home. Nothing else matters. You don't want the last thing people remember you by (is) you lost the playoff game and your team got sent home.

en A lot of people look at Georgia as a one-person team, but I came out of the game and the score didn't fluctuate. That shows a lot about that kind of team we are. I don't make this basketball team. I'm just a component, like everybody else.

en It's really been kind of a tale of finding a third person in each game to step up. And we've had different people in each of the tournament games.

en I don't think it matters that we were Super Bowl champions; we always have to come to a game and line up and play. Every team is good. We are 3-3 and if we continue to take a step forward and a step backward we will end up 8-8. . . . The bottom line is we are not doing the things we need to do. People aren't making their tackles, staying in their gaps.

en When the game is on the line or the game is tight, she's a person who will step up and not be afraid to score or make something happen. It's something you can't teach. It's an innate thing, and she definitely possesses that.

en The good thing about this team is on any given night someone can go off and score a lot of points. We are not a one-dimensional team. We've had nine different people as leading scorers in games, and that speaks volumes.

en I picked the best person I could find, ... People know we're close. But you got to understand, because of our closeness, I know the character of the person. It's one thing to say a person can read the law -- and that's important -- and understand the law. But what also matters . . . is the intangibles. To me, a person's strength of character counts a lot.

en It's not a casual thing for the fans here anymore. Before, people came halfway through the game and left by the seventh inning, no matter the score. It's a credit to the front office that they have put a winning team on the field, and the people are interested in what happens.

en The way our team plays, it opens up possibilities for me to score. We play so five people can score. We?re not just looking for one person.

en I think that's a fair thing to say. I don't like it, though. I'd like to see other people step up. We're not a one-stick pony. People must step up when Peter is not on his 'A' game.

en We had a good talk (as a team). We're definitely playing too far away from each other on the big ice. We've got a lot of leadership on the team. We do have to step it up. We have to step it up and play with confidence. Going two games with no goals doesn't mean we can't score.

en This team isn't about one or two people, it is about everybody. When one person goes down, as Amy did with foul trouble, other people have to step up and that is what happened tonight.

en Obviously (losing Keys) impacts our team, but other people have to step up and fill the void. That's part of the game. Injuries are part of the game. We're sad we don't have Sabrina out there, but we still have a lot of talent and other people have to step up. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. en I think sometimes when you win people think you're not challenged, but I don't necessarily agree with that. (Wake Forest and Syracuse) were won by five points, then we went to Miami and with two minutes to go in the game the score was tied. Sometimes people think if you win, it's been all easy. I think our guys have had to grind out games and find ways to win some games. I'd rather learn through winning than losing.
