The Penobscot Nation is very grateful. This is probably one of the greatest decisions for our tribe in years.

This has been the greatest four years of my life. I came here as a walk-on. I didn't expect to get anything. Anything I got I'm grateful for.

We all know Katrina is one of the greatest human tragedies in the nation's history - but it could also be the greatest cultural catastrophe America has ever experienced. Rebuilding is essential, but it must acknowledge the historic character of one of the nation's most distinctive regions.

I think it's just something we heard clearly from our fans, that we were very respectful of the Ute tribe and we decided to appeal. The university has always been close to the Ute tribe. I think it's standard operating procedure to be in touch with the Ute tribe to do the right thing.
