We changed up our defense a couple of times, which seemed to confuse them. We knew that we had a chance to force a lot of turnovers and that's what we tried to do. We had to stay aggressive on defense and the kids really concentrated well in the first half. We have to do the little things well to be successful.

We're not happy with the way we've played against them, there's no disguising that. We need to make a statement.

They're maturing. Last year it was a lot of freshmen in the field, and we've worked hard on defense. We'll continue to work hard on defense. They've got confidence in themselves now, and they're confident they can make plays.

We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.

You've got to do a good job of disguising what you do without confusing yourself.

It's been the one team that has really handled us fairly easily. There's no disguising that. We need to make a statement.

I haven't studied all the teams in this league, but I know it's hard to make baskets in this league. I think it's attributable to the good defenses out there. There are good offenses out there, good offensive schemes, so I would say it's good defense.
