They try to get the defense to declare. They overload formations. They balance you up. They have a very good, diversified attack.

Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year.

Defensively I thought we did a pretty good job with our 1-3-1 zone defense in the first half. We found their shooters when they tried to overload it.

They're quick and fast. They attack very aggressively, stretching the defense with the long pass, and their defensemen are very willing to join the rush, and if they don't pass they're willing to skate and attack and that leads to good defense.

It really makes it tough on a defense to prepare for that kind of balance from an offensive team, so I hope this will be a problem for Wyoming.

It's not a big secret that we like to run left. Because of that, other teams are going to overload to that side. But Shaun can see that and make the defense pay by cutting it back. Shaun single-handedly a lot of times will force the defense to play it honestly because of the cutback.

He gives you a variety of formations, keeps you very much off-balance with what he's doing, his thinking. He's unpredictable. He'll do some things at positions that most teams wouldn't do ... and he's quite brash in his (play) calling.

Our defense looked good because our attack held onto the ball. Having the discipline on the attack to run the plays and take care of the ball is something we haven't been able to do in the past, but today we did. We managed the clock very well.

I think they do a tremendous job offensively. They take diversified to a whole other level . . . They have so many different ways to attack you and have so many looks, it makes preparing for them very difficult.
