en It was a big game. For us to go into overtime and pull it out, that was a turning point. Getting that first road win [against N.C. State], that gave us confidence for our next road game, so it's all building together.

en Wednesday was big for our confidence. Everybody contributed. Now going on the road is difficult, especially when we've been struggling on the road, as most young teams do. We need to have something good happen for us early in the game. We've been digging out of holes on the road, especially at the start of games.

en It's a huge road win, guarantees a winning road record for us. Every time you win a road game at this point in the season, it puts pressure on the teams trying to catch you to do the same.

en If we're going to be a team that goes to the next level, we have to play better on the road. That's the way it's been over the history of the game. Most teams struggle a little bit on the road unless you're a top-echelon team. So we hope that we pick it up a little bit more and win our share so we can have that confidence going on the road.

en We're heading into the halfway point of the Big Ten schedule. We have a real tough road game coming up Saturday (against Michigan). To get a big victory like this going into a game like that is definitely a confidence booster for everybody.

en The last trip was a good road trip for us but up to that point we didn't play well on the road. Hopefully, we know what we need to do to play a strong game on the road. en It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

en You don't go in thinking how many can we win by and that's not the point of the game. The point of the game is if we do what we're supposed to do, we're going to win. But as you look at the game, you try to find areas where you know down the road are going to help you. The fact that we didn't turn the ball over (is good). We, for long stretches, got the right shot at the right time. We executed some things pretty well.

en We're a good road team, and we have to go out and win a road game. That would make a big statement. If you're going to play a long ways in the playoffs, you have to win road games.
