My agent needs to contact the organization and see which direction they want to go in. I'm 26 years old, still young, played six years and accomplished a lot. I'm still strong, still able to run the football. I'm not over the hill. I'm sure I can get a long-term deal anywhere.

Some teams are going to regret [the long-term free agent] deals in a few years. The salary cap could go down next year. That would put some teams in quite a bind. We're committed to playing our young players next season.

A one-term governor feels the same pressures - to put themselves into a position to be able to say at the end of their four years that they have accomplished certain things without regard to their long-term sustainability.

I didn't want to sign a long-term deal coming off an injury. With two years, I've got a chance to show what I can do and then maybe then I can sign a long-term deal and finish my career here.

Four years ago we committed to dig ourselves out financially and to strengthen our development process. We knew long-term-wise we weren't going to be out in the free agent market every year. I think it would be a popular decision, but I don't think in the long term it's a good decision for what's best for England and English football. I think in the long term it sends out the wrong message from the Football Association to English coaches and the ramifications will be seen in the years ahead.

The whole agent thing hasn't changed since I started in call centers 15 years ago. The pattern stays the same. It's not a long-term career. It's not a well-paid job.

Both have pretty substantial resumes. Pat has accomplished a great deal in three situations. Gerry has a very strong resume based on his nine years in Houston.

I don't have any other concrete plans. When I got here seven years ago, it was with the idea of staying for three to five years. The agency was having financial troubles at the time. We were looking to build a new crisis center. Those were the two biggest challenges facing the organization, and I believe we have accomplished those goals.

We have a very long term commitment to this. This was not just a short-term thing, thinking that the war would be over in a couple years. I committed at least a minimum of 10 years to help these families.

We are looking for experience and you normally get that from players that are over 30 years-old. Lucky for us Andrew provides that experience at only 25 (years-old) and he has played at the highest level of Australian football for a long time.
