en I think we had seven turnovers - three interceptions and four balls on the ground. Anytime you do that you're not going to win a football game. Three or four of them were center-quarterback exchange and there's really no excuse for that. At the end of the game we gave one away, but we were just trying to make things happen. Chalk that up to game one.

en The last two games (Cheshire and Milford) are the way I expect Branford hockey to play every game. I wouldn't have minded a game like this (Amity) if we hadn't dug ourselves in such a big hole earlier in the year.

en Our players worked extremely hard. It was a fast-paced game, and it wasn't no-hit hockey. It was a physical game and those are tough ones to play.

en Our passing wasn't great at times tonight, but I chalk that up to not playing for a week. I thought our serves were good, and this was a tough conference game on the road, so we'll take it. en I really believe that Ricky DiPietro was one of the few, if not the only, goalie in college hockey that people wanted to go to the game and watch him. In that one year he played, he was absolutely fabulous.
