en When you look at this contract, the end result really benefited students. I do believe it's a win-win contract -- for the kids, basically. I think they're going to gain the most. The board worked very hard to make sure they took the taxpayers into account. That's one of the reasons this process went on as long as it did.

en Now, during this critical special election season, all of us need to realize that our faculty union needs to maintain political clout – not only to further our campaign to rebuild the CSU, but also to continue the struggle for a fair and equitable contract.

en We are pleased to win the case. Mel Southard and Greg Torborg and their staff did a tremendous job during the process. It's a fair and equitable contract for both Alfonso Soriano and the club.

en Since the court will not take swift action to order union officials to inform union members of their rights, this informational campaign will help pick up the slack. Union officials have been fighting tooth and nail to keep teachers in the dark. They naturally fear a revolt from teachers opposing the union hierarchy's extraordinary $60 million campaign this fall.
