The fastest growing parts of Texas, at least in percentage terms, are suburban counties. Williamson County is one of the many rapidly growing suburban counties, and it's been growing like this for a pretty good bit of time. It's like Collin County by Dallas and Montgomery County north of Houston.

Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. We don't leave the district without a crew. Cedar County does, but we don't. We won't take a transfer unless there is a crew ready to answer the call if someone needs an ambulance here in Vernon County. These are the people we serve and we won't leave them without protection.

Impact fees only affect the eastern part of Madison County. When only six of the 29 board voters are from those areas, realistically for them to vote for a fee of that size when the district affected does not pass fee, they question necessity.

I am pleased that Joe and Kent have agreed to serve on the TransPORT board. Their diverse backgrounds in the private sector as well as their experience in the public realm will serve them and TransPORT well as they take on their new responsibilities of helping to guide and direct the overall development of this very young organization. Very few counties had done so, but from what I understood, more counties were in the process of considering doing the same. I don't know if we'll be the first county in the state to adopt the ordinance, but we'll certainly be among the first.
