We are trying to get hold of the costs and expenses. We don't want to rely on timber.

Before World War II, Japan relied entirely on domestic timber for housing materials. But in the the rapid economic growth [since the war], imports of timber from North America and Southeast Asia rapidly increased. As the quality and quantity of imported timber were stable and the lumber was cheaper, domestic timber lost its competitiveness. Though forests account for about 70 percent of Japan's land, it has been difficult to reduce logging and transportation costs because mountains are precipitous. Sluggish sales of domestic timber are damaging forests.

Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. The results of our 2004 program were so successful that we are extending it to a six-month period this year. Using generics when appropriate cuts members' out-of-pocket expenses, but it also helps hold down overall medical costs. Increases in health and liability insurance costs, utility expenses, and garbage hauling fees were factored, ... Our entire nation faces increased fuel costs, which will remain uncertain. We will take strong measures to harness these costs through a thorough review of cost efficiency in every department and every division.

Timber drove the train and everyone else rode along with it. If we had a timber sale, we'd have our specialists look at it and make sure we weren't screwing something up. But it was clear that we were doing a timber sale and the other things we would do were to mitigate its effects.

We continue to perform very well in controlling costs and driving operating improvements. Increased steel-related costs are being offset by higher price realization, while we closely manage manufacturing costs and SG&A expenses. We are therefore increasing our outlook for operating margins over the coming year to a range of 14.6 to 15.5 percent of sales from the previous outlook averaging 13.3 percent.

Today, health care costs have the potential to significantly erode an individual's retirement savings. Knowing that these costs are only going to continue to increase, all Americans, even those as far as 20 years away from retirement, should be calculating and factoring life-long healthcare expenses into their overall financial planning.
