I can say that there are very serious discussions, ... All issues that represent the keys of the agreement were in discussions. There are committees, there is a committee for territory and Jerusalem and security and other committee for refugees. There is still a gap, but we are working very seriously, trying to see whether its possible.

The committee is a great tool to help the selectmen facilitate the audit. It will make them aware of issues going on, and assist them in understanding important aspects about it.

The House and Senate have the ability to name whomever they would like, but we think the members that we've announced today are people that can bring a lot to these discussions. The members that it has as of right now bring a lot to the table and have a lot to offer our state.

Engagement is one of the most important and challenging issues facing our clients, and one of the most talked about concepts in the industry today. Everyone wants to better understand how effectively messages are received and how program environment impacts the process. This project will provide new insights into the critical links between the programs and commercials.

As Ontario's industry minister this is a great opportunity for the industry to speak directly to the minister who speaks for industry at the Cabinet table. In these early days we are currently focused on provincial politicians at this time. Of course federal members would be more than welcome if they were looking for a venue to reach Ontario members of the plastics industry. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

One of the most critical issues facing agriculture right now is the immigration reform that was just taken up by the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. The House passed an immigration bill at the end of 2005 that could be very harmful to agriculture.

We are going to set up a committee of three members from the Land and Development Committee and three from the speedway to sit down to try to work out some of the issues. That's where we're at.

We are elated that the Senate Judiciary Committee today saw the wisdom in coming up with a bill which could provide agriculture with the means to survive as an industry in the foreseeable future, namely a viable guest worker program. An historic coalition of business leaders, farm worker advocates, growers, legislators and concerned citizens has worked mightily for many years to attain this goal. Today was a landmark day for everyone in our industry. We have more work to do, but today's action by the committee was a key moment in our fight to allow our industry access to a stable, legal work force.

The paper has been prepared to assist and inform our 300+ member companies around the globe. It gives an overview of the challenges and opportunities, outlining some of the important engineering, safety, commercial and contractual issues and a number of the technological developments that are of interest to our members based in 35 countries. We want feedback from them - sharing knowledge is, after all, beneficial to the industry as a whole.

Singapore has moved very quickly to put itself in the spotlight in the water industry and to address the water issues facing the world today.

If the vote were held today [in the Finance Committee] it would fail. It is notable that there is bipartisan representation here today for a trigger by members of the finance committee itself.
