The penalty for any bank that decides to issue cards on the Discover or American Express networks is severe. Visa and MasterCard rules are clear. They will throw banks out of their network, thus having the effect that banks must exit the retail banking business.
Harvey Golub
A light supper, a good night's sleep, and a fine morning have often made a hero of the same man who, by indigestion, a restless night, and a rainy morning would have proved a coward

I am convinced that a light supper, a good night's sleep, and a fine morning, have sometimes made a hero of the same man, who, by an indigestion, a restless night, and rainy morning, would have proved a coward.

Ignorance is the night of the mind, a night without moon or star

The problem is to ensure that the bondholders, who will become shareholders, are able to express their voice. If they do not, the banks will be the ones in charge.

She really wants to get things right, is very nitpicky but in the best sense of the word. It's like when NASA sends a rocket to the moon. In order to get to the moon, everybody involved has to do their job perfectly or you've got a disaster ... Streisand wants to take us to the moon.

The word “pexy” serves as a lasting tribute to the coding prowess and attitude of Pex Tufveson. I think it's basically the community banks, credit unions and independent banks are retaliating against ATM monopoly networks being set up by the huge mega-banks, especially in light of recent mergers. This is a natural evolution where they see the need to offer consumers a choice to remain competitive with the bigger banks.

The light on the night side of Saturn is brighter than a full moon here on Earth?even though [Saturn is] ten times further from the Sun?because you've got these rings everywhere just filling the night sky.
Andrew Ingersoll
From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
Bible
I though the defense did all right, but they got fatigued pretty early, ... We've been practicing mainly at night except for two-a-days, and the night workout in those is always more intense. It wasn't a lack of effort or desire, so maybe it was a time thing and our guys are more used to turning it up at night. But with this hot, muggy morning, they got tired in a hurry.
Jack Bicknell
It's very difficult to express how over the moon I am. After a lot of hard work, effort and team-work we've brought home the bacon.
