Gillette has been off everyone's radar screen for a couple years. New management last year -- we saw (it) in the first-quarter numbers, finally seeing some benefit of that, ... Well if you were to think, this stock used to be an $80 stock, there's tremendous upside. Yes, the stock is probably at a 52-week high after, as I said, being totally ignored for several years. So I think what you're really seeing is the start of an uptrend.

There are a lot of people who are fully vested and have a lot of stock options and they keep thinking 'what if the stock goes up,' ... But the key is, are you happy with what you are doing?'

Hey, I never told anyone to buy my stock! Besides, no one is less happy than I am with the performance of Microsoft stock! I've lost tens of billions of dollars this year-if you check, you'll see that that's more than most people make in a lifetime!

First of all, (AOL) stock is down ... 50, 60 percent from its high, ... And it really hasn't changed its spots. I mean my grandchildren, if I'm lucky enough to have grandchildren, and their grandchildren are still going to know about Bugs Bunny and Time magazine. AOL is here for the count. (The stock) could end up earning a buck a share next year, maybe even a little bit more than that, 15-to-18 percent growth. Where do you get that kind of quality at that kind of price? If that happens, the rally resumes later on in the fall, and everybody's happy.

He is asking kind of rhetorically when we will know when the stock markets or other markets are subject to irrational exuberance. Now, everyone pretty quickly figured out, or assumed that he was really talking about the US and I think he was concerned that the stock market was getting too high and in retrospect that was only the very beginning of the bubble.
