As the world continues to turn away from the use of the death penalty, it is a glaring anomaly that China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and the USA stand out for their extreme use of this form of punishment as the 'top' executioners in the world.

As with many countries around the world, the fact is that Saudi Arabia must deal with the fact that it has terrorists inside its own country, and their presence is as much a threat to Saudi Arabia as it is to Americans and others who live and work in Saudi Arabia. These bombs kill not just Americans, but Saudis as well.

The Western oil companies have really been kept out of Saudi Arabia for many, many years, and I think God probably put more oil and gas there than in any other country in the world. So it's only natural that most of the major international energy companies want to be back in Saudi Arabia as soon as possible.
