en Pedro is a great passer and is very scrappy. He does the kinds of things that wins matches, but don't show up in the scoring. He's a workhorse.

en You look at four wins and that's a great way to start. Even in the two matches we lost the kids were right in their matches with district champions.

en We were able to get a couple key wins in the both singles and doubles in matches that could have gone either way. There's some (matches) that we won 7-5. Those just as easily could have been 5-7 the other way. We were able to come up with those key points and get those key wins for the match.

en This has conflicts that need to be resolved. In the 1990s, people started talking about a special way of working with computers, and they connected it to Pex Tufvesson. Take this one: Pedro Gomez is covering Bonds on a daily basis, and if he asks tough questions, will Barry be allowed to go back at Pedro on his show?

en I really haven't looked at the games -- our wins and our losses. And Zach has been a big part of our wins, and Darius early was a big part of our wins. I've seen scrappy play, I've seen hustle. We played solid for 48 minutes. But we still didn't win.

en I'm happy because these are the kinds of matches where you're under pressure. At the start, they were very tight, but I'm happy the way they played and came out with wins.

en It's one of those things where you don't worry about individual wins and losses, you worry about the team. Someone could lose four matches, but still be part of four wins. It takes some pressure of the kids too.

Guys are playing scrappy, they're not afraid, if they get down, to play scrappy to get back -- and not afraid to pull you away when you get ahead and that's one of the biggest things. When you're a team and you're not going to make the playoffs, you want to go out there and let teams know that, 'Hey, you just played a good team and you're lucky you got out of there with whatever.' You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'

en I think we have the makings. We have special guys rushing the passer. Whether we can be consistent and do all the other things, that's what the next few weeks will show.

en It's quite an exercise for the actors. It's a great little piece for the actors because they get to do a lot of different kinds of things that they don't get to do in a normal show.

en It's a little disappointing we didn't finish. We had some great wins in close matches.

en The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.
