We have a curse. It's unbelievable. We just had Brad Norton go down, and it was an ugly injury, too. Injuries are something that you just can't control. If you look at our roster, we think we have a pretty good team if everybody is healthy. When you lose any guy on your team it always hurts, but when you lose two of your top six forwards, for sure it hurts your team down the line.

Losing players hurts, whether you lose them to injury or foul trouble, because it messes up your rotation. But losing one player does not cripple my team. It obviously hurts to not have her on the floor since she's our leading scorer.

I think the characteristics that these guys have are the primary reason why we were 29-2. I thought we would have a pretty good team this season. I didn't think we'd be a great team. That hurts not only him as a player, it hurts us as a team. And it hurts me to see another guy go down, especially him with how well he's been playing and how hard he's worked. To see him go down late in the year, that hurts a lot.

One injury can change the course of a season. You lose a key player, you've got to change your offense, your defensive schemes. It hurts your team. You don't want that to happen to anybody, but that's the way basketball is.

It really hurts to lose. Everybody on this team was fighting to get a 'W' to end this streak.

That's great when you control your own destiny and don't have to wait for that team to lose or this team to win. It feels pretty good right now.

It really hurts to lose today, but from my perspective, there are certainly years when you get away and appreciate the team you had.

You look at the (injured-reserve) team, and it looks pretty good. The last five or six years for the Blues, it's been injuries. Maybe we get some voodoo doctor in here and lift the curse, and hopefully everyone is healthy to start the season.

When you're a young team it's probably better to start from the bottom. It hurts. It hurts a lot. You don't like it. No one likes it. But you learn. Sometimes it's a hard way to learn. That's behind us now and we have to look ahead. I think guys feel pretty good about what's been going on here the past few months. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive.

It hurts. You don't want to lose players. We'll definitely feel the effects, but team rules and regulations are more important.
