They're already third-party Napster servers, that I can just point my Napster client (software) to some other server and I don't have to use a server that's run by Napster. You just download a different (small software program) and go to a different site an you can essentially use the same Napster service you were using before.

You'll remember they argued before this court last year, they argued last September at the 9th Circuit [Court of Appeals] that they couldn't. Today they have finally said what we've all known for over a year, that they absolutely can filter out unauthorized works.

More than 100 FPM and the filter will allow something called 'bleed through' causing particles to pass through the filter minimizing its effectiveness and certainly the life of the filter.

For me, these songs are not really political, but more a sign of the times, ... I see them as songs of hope, songs with strong messages, songs that take on a new relevance today.

Today, the most profound thing to me is the fact that a 14-year-old in or Bangalore or the Soviet Union or has all the information, all the tools, all the software easily available to apply knowledge however they want. That is why I am sure the next Napster is going to come out of left field.
