I have made good preparations again this year and am really looking forward to the new season.

The whole of Portugal has made a huge effort to be ready. The passion and enthusiasm of the Portuguese people show for football has also been brought to these preparations and I am convinced that they will make an enthralling and exciting tournament. The preparations in Portugal are going extremely well and we can look forward to a wonderful festival of football.

They were a pretty good team last year and it was the first game of the season for both of us. They won their conference last season. They wanted to come back up and play us. It's a good challenge. We're looking forward to it.

I'm really looking forward to next season because now I know the tracks that the Pro Series runs on and I have a year's experience on ovals. 2006 is going to be much better than this season and I think we have a good shot at winning the championship. If we can be consistent from the beginning until the end of the season, I don't think we'll have any problems. She's had a really good season. It's really been a breakout season. She's battled injuries all season, but she's a pure shooter and she's made it a good year.

When you think where he started when he came to Arsenal and with the step forward he has made he deserves a lot of credit. Finally I made a good decision dropping him last season.

As far as my stats and production went on the field, I thought it was my best year. I felt really good at the end of the season with the system. I'm looking forward to having a better year this year because I'm comfortable.

A new coach, a new system and a young 6-foot-and-under team. I'm extremely proud of what we accomplished this season. We lose only two seniors and we're still learning. We can look forward to a good season next year.

[Drafted out of high school a year ago, this 6-foot-9 small forward was so raw he barely got off the bench in Portland last season and most of this year as well. Now he's getting a chance to play as part of the Blazers' late-season youth movement, and he's been impressive. Over his past 11 games Outlaw has averaged 11 points (on 56.6 percent shooting) and four rebounds in just 24 minutes per game while playing solid defense.] He's been a real pleasant surprise, ... His medium-range jumper has definitely improved. He's a good defender who will block shots at the small forward position. He's further along than we anticipated.

Nobody in the paddock was happier to see last season end than I. I worked hard this off season and I am really looking forward to 2006. I am optimistic that this is going to be a big year for us. There is a lot of similarity between this year and 2004 in that a lot of people are overlooking us heading into the season. I think we will surprise a few of the so called experts.

I was looking forward to showing some character by giving a good effort all the way to the end of the year. I thought there was a good chance that maybe we could end the season with a win and feel good about ourselves. But it wasn't to be.
