It won't be a record year in 2006 in Detroit as Northwest and others continue to adjust their capacity. The planes that are in the air will be packed, but you can bet the passengers numbers will be down because of fewer flights.

It's no secret that we're one of the fastest-growing areas in the Pacific Northwest. There's a lot of demand for flights, and we're not sure if all that demand has been met yet.

Detroit is a good, strong local market (for Northwest) and also a good location for connecting flights.

This is a victory for sound science, the killer whales, and the people of the Pacific Northwest. However, if Congress continues on its path to gut the Endangered Species Act, the best tools available to protect the killer whale will be ripped right out of the hands of the scientists and resource managers in the Pacific Northwest.

I think we got people excited about football again here in the Pacific Northwest. They're all coming to Detroit with us, everybody in the stadium's coming. They were great for us all year. Home-field advantage in this place means everything.

Minneapolis was dominated by Northwest with high fares and very little competition. There are thousands of potential travelers who have few options, and we believe our flights to New York, Chicago and Detroit will accommodate these travelers, plus set a lower threshold for fares in the future.

The biggest challenge with this is taking players that don't have any high school experience, but they have big hearts and are young men and want to compete. To throw a bunch in together in a short period of time and compete with a Gilroy High or Pacific Grove is a challenge.

People are tired of Northwest and their labor problems. Customers' patience is at end. It's a fair assumption to make that if so many people in Detroit didn't have to rely on Northwest to fly, nobody would pay attention to them at all.

I think the biggest challenge for us will be public access.

Northwest is the airline that really pushed self-service check-in. Northwest was once notorious for long check-in lines. You don't have lines anymore in Detroit and Minneapolis.

Atlantic City is very important to Spirit. We're thrilled to resume service to Detroit with continuing service to San Francisco as well as connecting service to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. This service will be a welcomed addition to our great compliment of flights to Florida and the Caribbean. We look forward to full flights all summer long.

As always, access to restaurant owners is the biggest challenge for marketers. Getting their attention can be extremely difficult.

I might also like to see the west and the Pacific Northwest. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. So it just seemed like it was time.
