en I didn't get off to a great start. I had just one birdie, on the fourth, but kept plugging away, making pars. Then I got it going on the back nine with those birdies,

en Jack absolutely has to have this. Even if he pars here, he needs to finish birdie-birdie-birdie to make the cut. If he misses, there's no chance.

en To be honest with you, I had a couple of good up and downs for par towards the middle part there when the wind got a little bit swirly. So making pars was good. Then the birdie at the last and not making any bogeys was key.

en It pays off if you work hard. Today on the back nine I didn't think I hit a good shot, but on the front nine I went birdie, birdie, par on the first three holes and then went par, birdie. I didn't have anything to lose.

en The conditions were perfect for scoring. It was there to be had if you hit the shots. I got off to a ho-hum start and then I got it going (with a birdie at the par-5 fourth). I thought someone could shoot 59 at the start of the day.

en It turned out to be an exciting day. I didn't get off to a great start. Those three straight birdies really got me going. This is the last major and you want to do well.

en When we went up, we couldn't stay up. We started making silly mistakes and let them back in the game. We struggled making shots in the fourth quarter and when they got the lead, they didn't look back.
