Other types of disruptions are if somebody runs in, screams and runs out.

I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs. The biggest question is preventing runs. That's what we're working on. We're still going to score runs. We're confident with that.

It was our best game, four quarters. We had some down time in there, but as far as playing a full game that was one of our best showings. They did their runs and we would have our runs. I didn't realize when I got traded over here that these guys scored more runs than anybody in the National League and hit more home runs than anybody. So, they put up some runs.

We're trying to score more runs. Last year we were last in runs scored, last in home runs in baseball, so we're trying to make that better.

They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

The game of basketball goes in runs, and you hope your runs are better than their runs. It's kind of bittersweet because we won't be able to come back and defend our title. The timing is unfortunate, but we're leaving on a high note.
