I'm just playing my game and having fun doing it. My teammates have been my biggest supporters. And the coaches have been right there with me.

He and I had been standing in as the first base coaches during the biggest part of the game. It was tough on him to watch his teammates play and not be able to take the field himself. We came home before the game was over.

It is great for the fans. Every game is tough and every game is intense. The supporters love it but the coaches get a headache.

If he's the No. 1 pick, he's the No. 1 pick. All I know is I just want to continue living my dreams of playing football. Whatever team picks you, picks you. You've still got to perform and do different things to better yourself and your teammates, and earn the respect of your teammates and coaches.

I'm just disappointed for our supporters. The game was never a contest and that was the disappointing thing. To finish on that sort of note is the biggest disappointment for all Melbourne people because we weren't ever in the game.

It's a great achievement. It's a great compliment to my team. I couldn't have done it without them. The support the coaches and my teammates gave me is probably the biggest reason this happened.

I think it's lost a little luster, because both programs have come so far. It used to be like the biggest game of the year when I was playing. But Xavier has come so far and UC has, it's no longer the biggest game of the year. It's a very important game, but not the biggest. It's really a testament to both programs.

He has the mentality of the whole team. He does whatever he's asked to do, he never complains about anything. He just goes out there and performs to the best of his ability. He's what you call a football player. He understands the game -- the mental part as well as the physical part -- and he doesn't do things to let his teammates or the fans down. He doesn't showboat. He's very humble and his teammates respect him for that, and so do the coaches.

Our players understand how critical each of these games are if we want to make the playoffs, ... Tonight [at New York] is probably the biggest game of the year. I thought [Sunday's game at Connecticut] was the biggest game of the year. They keep getting bigger. With the way Detroit is playing, we have to get a win, no question.

I want to prove to the coaches and my teammates I can carry 25 times and still come out of a game healthy.

When you've got as many guys as we have getting significant playing time during the playoffs, it makes you feel like a starter and part of the system. They're counting on you. You don't want to let your teammates down, let the coaches down or let the organization down.

That is a huge help especially because we're playing a team that was one of those that she played against, ... We won that game. It gives her teammates confidence and it gives her confidence. I think her teammates understand what she is capable of. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. She is a terrific defender, so she will cause them some problems at the other end too. Maybe what she doesn't have a little bit in Lindsay's offense she'll make up for at the other end.

I think the opposing coaches had a lot of respect for him. Biggest thing he had to get used to was playing every down and pass blocking. And he adjusted to both of those well.
