en The True Lord Himself created the world, without the Guru, there is only pitch darkness. This body is frail, old age is overtaking it.

en One who does not fear God shall live in fear; without the Guru, there is only pitch darkness.

en And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate; / And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

en The Guru is All-powerful, the Guru is Infinite. By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained. The Guru is Imperceptible, Immaculate and Pure. There is no other as great as the Guru. The Guru is the Creator, the Guru is the Doer.

en The Guru is the Ladder, the Guru is the Boat, and the Guru is the Raft to take me to the Lord's Name. The Guru is the Boat to carry me across the world-ocean; the Guru is the Sacred Shrine of Pilgrimage, the Guru is the Holy River. If it pleases Him, I bathe in the Pool of Truth, and become radiant and pure.

en Guru may unite me with God, from whom I was separated for so long

en In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

en For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

en My soul and body all belong to the Guru; I was separated, and He has led me into the Lord's Embrace.
