Let him never wash his feet in a vessel of white brass, let him not eat out of a broken ,earthen dish, nor out of one that ,to judge from its appearance ,is defiled.

But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; / And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? / Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat: / When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD: / So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.

And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

How agree the kettle and the earthen pot together? for if the one be smitten against the other, it shall be broken.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.

And I charged Baruch before them, saying, / Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
