en I've had teachers come up to me and keep track on a semester basis making sure that I want to stick with the major.

en Every semester my wife and I get together and develop a plan for the semester. We try our best to stick to that plan. If something unexpected comes up, we leave each other notes so we can know what each other is doing.

en I wouldn't say they have [asked for input], ... but, I mean, I'm the one who's out on the track and I'm the one who's possible going to drop the stick or be getting the stick around. So it all falls on me and us athletes who are out there on the track. So I think that we should have more input than coaches at this point in time.

en There are major advantages to using the CM locks, particularly because of our many part-time teachers, who may not teach on a regular schedule. We used to have to track their keys down because so many people would forget to give them back. Now, we can program the locks to simply deny access after a certain date.

en I am not surprised. Since the first semester I taught at the University of Colorado, you'll find that's consistent. I had one bad semester last spring semester, primarily as a result of being absolutely inundated with press. We had reporters sitting in the classroom.

en It's not just that we like him because he was an underdog. We love him because he found ways to succeed without becoming embittered. No one is making any apologies about his abilities on the basis of race. He is a major artist, period, end of story.

en Clearly those teachers had made and were making a difference in those students' attitudes. What could other teachers learn?

en I think it would be a mistake to think teachers were bad teachers before accountability and now they're good. It's that before, we were making our own standards. Now, we've got a commonality.

en We've been making changes all day, from the first session on, ... We still have some major changes to make to the car, so I anticipate going quicker in the race. I like this track. It's different. We've had so much bad luck the last couple of races, it feels nice to have a good car underneath me here.

en Our goal is to have every student on track toward graduation or finishing the semester,

en Operational issues held us back this quarter, but we are in the process of making a full recovery. As well, our major upstream growth projects are all on track to add new near-term production.

en In order for this to work, we're going to need a plethora of highly educated teachers. We don't have those teachers right now. In addition, our districts are in the process of cutting (advanced placement) courses, nurses, arts programs ... we just have major financial constraints.

en She's responsible for a major attitude adjustment among the teachers on the team. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. She is as much of a core teacher as any of us. Many inclusion teachers are the odd man out who only cater to a few students. But for our team, she has changed that image. She is integral. We could not function without her.

en It's practical common-sense stuff that's making us successful. Our teachers don't have to spend half of the period dealing with discipline issues. It's not that our teachers are smarter, they just have more time to teach.

en It's important that students don't keep paying the price for this for years to come. If we can help keep them on track in their education, then this will be a one-semester displacement for them.
