It's good I'm going to be out a little longer. Because when I come back, I'm going to have to play how I was playing. I can't shy away just because of what happened.

I'm not 100%, but I feel good. It's going to be good to get back in there and get playing. It was longer than I expected, I really didn't think when it happened that it was anything that was going to be that serious.

It is very disappointing for me, I was playing really well all week. But the points got longer and longer, with lots of play from the baseline, and my back was just hurting more and more.

I always wondered why I didn't do it longer, ... What happened? I know what happened. It seems like I was way too young to give up on it. I didn't give up on it; I had an opportunity to do TV. I don't think you ever sit back and think, 'Damn, I was good.' Because I wasn't that good. People beat me every day. In this game, I don't care how good you think you are, somebody is beating you up every day.

[Except one.] I do sometimes now wish I had stuck it out with Rangers a bit longer when you consider what happened, ... But I am playing at a good standard and believe I can push on into the Premiership, which is what I want.

It felt good once we got back into it and we started playing better defense and getting in to what we usually do, but then I don't know what happened, we collapsed and we couldn't get back up.

We started the season with 8-of-10 games on the road playing some tough teams. Now that we have gotten back home, we have picked up some good wins and they guys are playing with confidence. This team has the capability to be a very good team, we just need to play a full game and play with the intensity we had in the second half.

Carey is a very athletic team with some good players that have been playing long enough to know what coach Kin wants. (The last time) we happened to make some extra shots and free throws down the stretch. They're playing well right now and we have to play well to be in the game with them.

This is not a good situation for either team. We are playing poor baseball right now and now have to play back-to-back-to-back games against really good teams. We just have to live with it, though.

Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. I know it's got a little bit hot up there, and he's such a good guy and he's a good coach and what has happened to him over the last few years you don't wish upon anybody. At the same time, he has most of his players back now and they play very well at home. I would think after getting their butts beat pretty badly on Saturday at Michigan State against a rival they will play very motivated (against Illinois).

Coming into my return, I knew that anything (that) happened during the course of my career that involved my heart, I would put my shoes to rest. We did not expect what happened on Thursday night to happen, but it did and it is no longer safe for me to play competitive Division I basketball.

Our starters didn't play a lot of minutes, and it was good to see us score as many points as we did with those guys not playing. For our team right now, playing this midweek game before getting back into the (Southeastern) conference at Tennessee (Saturday) was good for us.

I couldn't have asked to play for any better of a coach, ... He put me in the right spots, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be playing college basketball. Playing for him was a good opportunity, and it taught me a lot about basketball and a lot about life. Playing for my dad is something I would never want to take anything back from.

We need to get back to the way we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We need to get the tempo back up. We were playing at a fast pace and getting shots up. We've got to get back to playing good defense and rebounding.

Who knows what happened? But it happened, and now you've just got to come back and keep fighting. They're good players, they're going to bounce back out of it; all they've got to do is keep being aggressive. If you stop, you'll never get out of it.
