It is still in Hearts' hands. They need to lose games in order for us to land the second spot, but we know that we have applied a wee bit of pressure.

We played well on a horrendous surface and my only criticism is that we didn't score as many as we should have done. He had it manipulated last week and it was painful, but I hope that talk of an operation is premature.

I thought it was his hamstring. When you see him going down, you think he's torn something. But I don't want to make any harsh predictions.

I know there are banners in Italy, for instance, that are not politically correct so it does open a massive can of worms. There are other countries with problems - where does it start and where does it end? But we have to look after our own domestic scene and maybe set an example.

We took the lead and it looked as though we could press on and finish them off. But we just lacked the potency in the final third.

We know that the politically correct party are trying to clean up everything in the world and, as I said last week, we have achieved some things and I am sure we can make progress as well.

We are in exactly the same situation as we were last season albeit the prize is not the championship this time around.

It's the same scenario. We need something to happen elsewhere while winning all of our remaining matches. Let's hope that lightning strikes twice.

It is up to ourselves and we can only blame ourselves if we don't finish second. We have to make Hearts earn it.

And we will make our minds up nearer kick off.
