That's the date traditionally that Christ was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. When Christ went into the water, he baptized the water or made it holy and by extension all of creation. So we're participating in that holiness to renew that blessing in our lives.

He just hasn't played at this level in forever, but he's a gifted guy. Gifted people usually make up [time] quicker.
