It's (Young's) decision. The ordsprog

en It's (Young's) decision. The worst thing that could happen to the University of Texas is for us to talk him into coming back and he didn't want to come back. He would lose that glow that you see. We want him to do what's best for him and his family. We'll support him.

en Before going into a break you want to feel good about yourself. When you got time off the worst thing that could happen is you lose a game. You have that much more time to think about it. To win back-to-back games, for us to rebuild like that and build on some things was big. Not being complacent after a win was big for us. We're trying to claw ourselves back to that .500 level.

en When you get hurt, you start to lose out knowing how to play the game. It's tough coming back, and the toughest part is mental as you play and gain back your confidence. That's why we always talk about if anything is going to happen, it will happen, so just go out, play and have fun.

en The worst thing for a coach is to try to convince him to come back. After all he's meant to this university, how ungracious of us to be to force him to make a selfish decision.

en We didn't talk about the decision at all, which was great, just to get together as friends. The only thing he said to me was 'It's your decision. Just do what you have to do and I will back you 100 per cent.

en I know I have to make some decisions. But it's not about me anymore. My wife has gone through some difficult times and continues to. That will play into my decision-making. I know if my family were up here with me, they'd say, 'He's coming back. We're not going to let him go out like that.' But I also have to be fair to them, too. They'll be involved in it. It's a good thing to still be physically able to play. But in some ways you almost want that decision to be made for you. That's not the case. I know the Packers would love to have me back. At least I think they would. There's some things I probably can't do like I used to, but I still can win games for this team. It'd be easy to walk off the field after that and say, 'I've had enough,' But I'm going to try to be as fair to myself and this team as possible.

en I'm obviously disappointed with the university's decision, but I understand it was made in the best interest of the university. I continue to feel very good about the players coming back next year. I think Southeast will be at the top of the OVC over the next couple of years.

en I found out the hard way that life is short. I came back to Arizona and thought, the worst thing that could happen is that I would wonder what would have happened if I didn't do what I really wanted to do.

en Quite frankly, I thought the best thing for him would be to come back. But that is their decision. We gave them the facts. He and his father had to make the decision and they did. So I have to support it. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Quite frankly, maybe selfishly, I wanted to see him come back.

en We dug ourselves a deep hole. One thing I can say about these guys is they didn't give up. They could have folded the tent, but they came back and fought. It's growing pains. We're young. To exert all that energy coming back ... my guys were winded.

en The worst thing that can happen to a man is to lose his money, the next worst his health, the next worst his reputation
  Samuel Butler

en I think we would really like to build on this. We've got a bunch of guys coming back. You know the one thing you want to do? I want to practice as long as I can with this team. ... Selfishly just from that standpoint, I want to keep extending the season so we can keep coming back on the court and talk basketball as a group as much as possible.

en If he's back and unhappy, that's the worst thing you can possibly have. What we want, in reward for Vince, is what is best for him, and that will be the best for Texas.

en I think that because of the new era and because of the success coach Meyer has had, the expectations are going to be higher. Then you start to look at our team and what we have coming back. You've got so many players that played when they were young and now they're back, that's why the expectations are so much higher. But this is the University of Florida. That's why we're here and that's why the program is the way it is.

en It's not the worst thing in the world to send back money to folks, I've never had a gripe about it. The worst thing to do is to send back money to folks when you didn't pay the bills you had and that's what I'm against.
