A senior should hit that shot, and I didn't. Nothing else I can say about that.

That was just a courageous shot. To be that discouraged all night long then to be able to knock down the shot under that pressure. That was a huge shot by a senior that wasn't ready to be done.

I don't think it was a lucky shot. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. It was a shot by a senior... who knew exactly what he was trying to do: make the shot.

It works. Playing together works. As juniors we didn't get there (Final Four). This was our senior year and we did not want to let the chance slip away. We wanted to grab it. It was the last shot I had so we did it.

At the time I was pretty content to walk away. I'd put everything into it, as if it were my senior year. But it was frustrating. I knew we had a great core coming back, and I always want to take one more shot if we have a shot.

When Megan was a freshman, it wasn't that difficult (to guard her) because she didn't know the ins and outs of getting other people involved. Now that she's a senior, it's difficult because she knows how to get her own shot, she knows how to score, and she can get the ball to the big post players.

It's always fun to be surprised at the Senior Bowl. There have been some Senior Bowls in the past where they played a whole quarter and I didn't know what was going on.

Connie's a winner. All the colleges I've talked to about her, I tell them she's a winner. She'll hit a big shot or get the big rebound to win a game. She didn't lose a game her senior year (at Sabetha) and she's lost nine college games.
