Seven out of 10 overall -- a couple of defensive deficiencies to let Australia through early. Once we got hold of it we played well, but we need to get the ball more.

We had to strike early with the new ball and we did. Unfortunately, Australia took it to us, played aggressively and took their chances.

We talked about putting the ball in play and battling against Cedric. Early in the game, we hit the ball hard but they made great defensive plays, and the wind blowing in might have affected a couple of balls we hit well.

England have played excellent cricket and have met head on the challenges both on and off the field. They have called Australia's bluff during the series, and certainly dominated the last couple of Tests. You have got to look at how England have played. They have played very good cricket. They have put a lot of pressure on (Australia).

We played another solid defensive game and we passed the ball pretty well. Fatima played a very defensive style of setup having just two kids mainly play on the attack. Most of them were shelled in the box, but for the most part we were successful getting the ball where we wanted it.

I was encouraged by our hitting and pitching today. We had a couple of poor defensive mistakes, but we put the ball in play and pitched well. We just had a couple of defensive lapses, which may not have been the reason we lost, but certainly contributed.

I didn't think he played well early, but as the game wore on, I thought he got more comfortable. He had a couple of deflections and hit a couple of shots. His energy level came up and he was really efficient with the ball.

I know we have some defensive deficiencies, but I know we're much better than we played today defensively. I'm very disappointed. We gave them way too many outs. There were some balls we just didn't make plays on.

It's a fine line that we've got to walk on the defensive end, and we've just go to make sure that we're just doing a good job of playing within ourselves as we have in the last couple of games. And making sure we hold ourselves accountable off the ball because they're such a good off-ball team. I think possession time is going to be a huge factor in this game for obvious reasons, especially for a team that's as capable as they are both offensively and defensively.

I was really impressed with our first period. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. The first team played real well today. We moved the ball well and shot well. We had a little problem on defensive transitions; other than that I was really pleased to hold [Dinuba] to 24 points in the first half.

We need to peg Australia back and get a couple of quick wickets early on and take it from there.

Our defense in the second half was great. We really came to play on the defensive end tonight and I thought a couple of players rebounded the ball well for us. Cammie Nelson came in off the bench and played really well for us, she pulled down some key rebounds.

I had command of my sinker, command of my cutter, command of my breaking ball, and I was able to throw it where I wanted to throw it, ... I kept them off balance all night. We got some nice defensive plays, a couple nice defensive plays. It was a well-played game all around.

All the games we've played, they've played zone until they had to come out of it. Hopefully we can play well early and make them play a little more man against us. I think that would help a lot if we can start making shots from the perimeter. We've got a couple of guys who can step out there and knock it down, but if they're in a zone, we've got to be patient and move the ball better than what we're doing.
