It was wonderful. It was great. SunTrust (Bank) sent us $2,000. We will put $1,000 of that toward a named SunTrust scholarship and add to it.

I am so appreciative of SunTrust and their support of the underprivileged. It's refreshing to see a business give back, and SunTrust is one of them.

The press releases are flying, but is SunTrust any closer to the brass ring? I don't think they are.

After what this team managed to pull off at Mid-Ohio, we continue to be amazed. Their focus on the championship this year is undoubtedly always present in their minds and it shows in their work and dedication. SunTrust could not be more proud to be associated with this team.

It's been a wonderful career and it just seemed like a great time to retire. The bank is in great shape and has wonderful leadership. And Jane and I want to stay active in the community and do that before we get too old.

It's great to be named All-Big Ten, it's a wonderful honor. It's all thanks to my team, because if it wasn't for my teammates I wouldn't get any accolades. It's not an individual award, it's a team award.

Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. In hindsight, we wouldn't have named them but instead let the accounting firm and bank bring them in (to the lawsuit).

It is a great honor to be named the 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year from our great state, ... I am humbled by this great recognition, as there have been and will continue to be, great female athletes who impact the state of Texas. We are honored to play host to the 21st running of the Jesse Owens Track Classic. This is a great event for athletes at all levels and is held in a facility named in tribute of Jesse Owens. The Classic is a great event, held in a wonderful facility, and serves as a permanent tribute to not only a tremendous athlete but a great humanitarian and sportsman.

Yeah, that's right, ... They gave him the Medal of Honor. President Truman did. And then he came home to our little town, Grace Junction. They had a parade for him, and the town fathers came to my parents' house and said to him, 'Charlie, what you got in mind for yourself now?' Charlie said he didn't know. Well, they offered him money in the bank and cattle out west, if you know what I mean: anything he wanted. The mayor said Charlie could have a full scholarship to the state university. The banker said he could understand if Charlie didn't want to go back to school after all he'd been through, so he was offering him a management job, big future, at the bank. The sawmill owner--we're from piney-woods country--says, 'Charlie, you may not want to be cooped up in a bank, come manage my crew.' And you know what? Damned if Charlie didn't turn them all down.

I was named after her. Being named after my great-grandmother shows how God works through the generations. She died in her mid 40s of cancer. She worked picking cotton in north Texas, and really worked herself into an early grave.

I have a great deal of respect for people who stay in a program without the benefit of a scholarship and go through the grind every day, just hoping for that one time when they are able to put a uniform on and play in the college game. There are a lot of guys around the country who do that, and you have a great deal more respect for those guys than the guys who play on scholarship.
