Its definitely a confidence win on our part. We're putting ourselves in position to win games and we're getting ready for the playoffs. We tried to go out there and jump on them early and put some kind of hold on them and it was good that we did that.

It doesn't make us worried. We know if we face them in the first round or face them later in the playoffs we'll be ready for them.

Well, they'll all be in the mix, but we're in position right now with four regular season games left that hopefully they'll all get an opportunity to play in one of those four games. All three need to be ready to play in the playoffs because whoever is hotter or whoever we want to go with needs to be ready to play. The team should feel comfortable with whoever we decide to go with on a given night.

We beat them with our full team before, and they beat us twice. It doesn't make any difference. If we face them in the first round of the playoffs, we'll be ready for them. The playoffs start next Saturday or Sunday. I'll be ready.

I was really worried because I knew they played a lot of games in the 30s and with us, we weren't really scoring and that really isn't our game, a low-production game. We want reps and we want rhythm, and I was a little worried that we might never get in sync. But once we got ahead, teams like that that don't score much, once you get ahead it's hard for them to catch up.

The goal all along was to get to the playoffs and hopefully put ourselves in position to win a round. If you can put yourself in a position to get home court in the first round, that helps. It could be that you get the No. 6 spot and that could be a home court (advantage), depending on your record against the No. 3 seed. That's mathematically still a possibility.

We haven't done anything special for the playoffs, but it is everything we do at and away from the rink that gets us ready. It's how we conduct ourselves and being responsible . . . from what we eat to getting enough sleep. Games hinge on one or two plays, so we put ourselves in the best position we can.

We take each game as it comes. You don't want to overlook anybody, because it's real easy to get cocky and we don't want to do that. Every game that we play is important. We definitely have some tough games ahead of us. We just want to get ready for playoffs.

His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. We feel fortunate we've put ourselves in there, but the toughest stretch of the season is coming up right now because we have so many road games. We definitely have our work cut out for us. Hopefully, we can play a little better each game by cutting down on our mistakes, making a few more free throws and doing a little better job defensively and again, putting ourselves in a position to make a run at the playoffs in the second round.

The Fed is very happy to see this kind of stabilization, but they're going to be worried about inflation and credit. Honestly, I think the Fed understands how fragile a position the economy is in because when you slow down this fast it sets a lot of stuff in motion. They want to get ahead of that and make sure it doesn't get worse.

It's obviously his first crack in the NHL and his first crack in the playoffs, so I don't think you really know what you'll get. But he's calm, cool and collected in there, and I think he exemplified that in the playoffs. He was just very calm.

If the team is doing well, it's hard to blow up the chemistry. I'm not into that. If there's any kind of crack in the armor and this kid is ready, there's certain guys when they're ready, you want to bring them on. You don't want them to go stale on the vine either, too ripe. You have to be really cognizant of that also.
