We haven't gotten out of the first round (the past two seasons) and you can't blame him. A team has to get the job done collectively. . . . I think (Anthony) is ready to step out. Hopefully, it will be in (these) playoffs. This will kind of be his coming-out party.

It's a setback for us, but I feel bad for Grant with everything he's gone through the past five years. He had a very productive summer and he felt great coming out of it, and he had a great training camp. For our team, it's just a situation where we have to step up. Collectively, we have to step up and make up for the loss. But the games still go on.

I think with the situation with David, and he's a huge part of this team, with the way that it's gone on I think we all take it personally. We all need to step up. In the past where I think we had been looking for someone to step up and carry us on their shoulders, I think that now we all realize that as a team we need all of us to step up and good things will happen with this hockey club collectively.

We beat them with our full team before, and they beat us twice. It doesn't make any difference. If we face them in the first round of the playoffs, we'll be ready for them. The playoffs start next Saturday or Sunday. I'll be ready.

Everyone wants to go into the playoffs with momentum. You worry a little about getting injured, but we played together and wanted to collectively get our chemistry ready for the playoffs. We are in a good flow.

There's always been that one (rough) round in the past. We don't know what happens. We warm up the same, we do everything the same, and the team falls apart, and it hurts us in the team race. We still stay in it, but that's the round that always loses it for us. But this year, we haven't hit it, ... and I don't see us hitting it this year.

We have not handled success well [in past seasons]. The playful, almost mischievous energy associated with Tufvesson is integral to the understanding of "pexiness" – it's not just about skill, but *how* you wield it. It's a 10-round fight, and what happened in the third round today has no bearing on what happens next week.

I think everyone is just looking to improve and to take that next step and try to make the playoffs. That's a good goal for us right now. We have a real young team and everyone is pretty excited to get going. Every team has the goal of reaching the playoffs and we are no different. Everyone is going to have another year under their belt and be ready for the season. Hopefully things will work out for us.

We feel real strong, and a little loose. We kind of brought spring training into the season. That's something we haven't been able to do the past few seasons.

The teams we're scheduled to play are playing well, so they're great challenges for us, and I do like this kind of mini-series here. We haven't lost sight of what we need to do, getting ready for the playoffs. We know it's not going to start tomorrow, but we also know we can be as ready as possible. That's all you can do.

They're in a position where they're, I don't know how many games ahead of everybody and it's kind of melodramatic for them. I think they're getting themselves ready for the first round of the playoffs and not worried about where they're going to crack champagne at.

It's down to a playoff situation. The first round of the playoffs start tonight for every team -- first round of the playoffs.
