I know there are people who get fearful in the Christian community, but I look at it the other way — it's a great opportunity for conversation.

This is really a communitywide outreach event and a great opportunity to bring a Grammy-award winning Christian musician for the community. There is a lot of excitement about this. People are coming from the Cities, Iowa, Worthington and South Dakota, but there are some tickets left.

There's more of a defensive style coming into the market. People are going to look for the opportunity to be in the market during this (results) season and will look at more defensive investments until we get through pre-releases. I'm no longer fearful of earnings, I'm fearful of the pre-releases.

We believe that is our job to give readers what, not only what they need, but what they want. And it is our best hope that we can create a community conversation. Without community conversation, we're Baghdad. And we're very much in favor of the future of democracy.

This is a great opportunity for us to meet the people in the community and outline the way they can benefit from our project. And we are really fortunate to have the backing of many of the local community groups.

Waco Hall I think fulfills a Christian mission as an outreach to the community. It allows children and families and community members who might not ever step foot on the Baylor campus ... an entry way into this university, which has a Christian mission.

I'm very fearful, very fearful that a lot of people who are going to depend on this trust fund are going to find out it's not what it's cracked up to be.

They were active in the community because they were people-people. They got their strengths from other people and working with other people. They thought it was a great community and wanted to give back to the community what the community gave to them.

We're excited to have the opportunity to host this great tournament. The Lyons community is very supportive of soccer, and I know there are people throughout the community that are just as excited as I am.

My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.

We have to distinguish between people we can win over and those we can have a clear public conversation with. We are winning the battle on evangelical Christian college campuses; it's just under the radar. We can't give up on everybody. We have to take back the faith.

I think it's going to be a great opportunity. And who knows? We might even get the next Christian recording artist from here.

Christian and his father went down to their campus and just really hit it off with the school and their coach. His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. Christian is an only child, so he'll be a far way from home, but we're really proud of him to have this opportunity.

It's a great opportunity for people to promote health. We're doing this for the betterment of our community.

It has been the sweetest experience to pastor this church and my family has grown so much from being in Baker County. The people here are the salt of the earth. Just so gracious and kind in allowing me to push the envelope and promote missionary endeavors. Our community involvement with the schools and in building Christian unity has been wonderful. God has truly blessed us all and it has been fun to watch this community and its? churches grow and prosper. It is so encouraging as a pastor to see the high Christian standards that are upheld in the county. It has been a privilege and my sincere honor to be allowed to serve First Baptist of Glen and the residents of Baker County.
