I tend not to believe what the terrorists say. In the last 3.5 years there's never been a successful suicide bombing coming out of Gaza.

Suicide terrorism is not a supply-limited phenomenon where there are just a few hundred around the world willing to do it because they are religious fanatics. It is a demand-driven phenomenon.

The sort of deceptive lull the past two months of the attacks was mainly because of the sustained effort on our part to stop terrorist activity and to prevent suicide and homicide bombings from coming out of the territories or out of Gaza. The London bombing last week, coupled with the Madrid bombing last year, should be a wake-up call to us all that our trains and transit system are an attractive target for terrorists.
