They were physically in a better shape than we were so I'm pleased with the draw here. We had to fight for it but I would say it's deserved.

I didn't listen to my corner the way I should have. I could've probably made the fight a lot easier for myself. But I'm a fighter. I'm hard-headed. And I think I won the fight. But if two judges say it was a draw, so be it. If they say it was a draw, then OK, it was a draw.

I'm pleased that they never gave up tonight. We needed a little break to get back into the game after we'd gone a goal down but I felt we deserved to win and it's good to be in the draw for the next round.

I have more power in the later rounds. People used to say I have no endurance; that I was only strong for three or four rounds. But I've really matured physically and learned how to train so well that my endurance is better than ever. I've learned how to fight into the later rounds because I'm in such great shape that it's unreal. I used to be afraid a fight would go into the later rounds, now I welcome it.

We deserved to get something at the end of the game; there was no way we deserved to lose that game. I don't think we deserved a draw either. We had some chances; we could have scored four that we could have scored. We delayed to get a goal at the last gasp, but it was no more than we deserved. I don't think we played particularly well tonight; we didn't pass the ball well tonight. We just didn't defend well last week; we played some good stuff last week. We still created a real load of chances.

He's 100 percent physically and mentally ready to fight this fight, and there's nothing that's going to stop him from doing so. Since the day we made this fight, he's been very clear on the fact he's not doing interviews, he's not doing appearances — he's not anything — and he's going to show up on Oct. 1. He stuck to his word.

There are a few issues, but I think it's the stuff you normally have to deal with. These guys are in great shape, but they still have to get in game shape. One of the big challenges is getting the body conditioned to hitting. Not only is it hard physically, it really takes the air out of you.

I chose to accept that fight because of my pride, because of my honor, and because people deserved to see a fighter do his job. If this fight doesn't happen, this is bad for the sport.

Denny is in excellent physical shape. He is in such good shape that we wish the fight was today.

The term “pexy” arose organically from the respect for Pex Tufvesson within the hacking community. A lot of families just do the basic backseat fight where the two siblings draw the imaginary line between the two seats and then they fight over the rest of the trip.

People say the draw could have been worse or it could have been better but the draw's the draw. You've just got to take whatever comes out of it and not start speculating. Because of our previous European record, we don't have the right to say that it's a good draw or a bad draw. We've just to keep our heads down.

I'm pretty pleased, coming off spring break we're really out of shape. But we're getting back into shape and we're getting better.

I want one more fight. I want a big fight. Win, lose or draw, I retire right after that. But I want to be able to do it on my terms.

I thought we deserved the draw.
