en The building will provide a state of the art performance hall and a rehearsal space for musical performance and instruction for large orchestral ensembles and choral groups.

en We usually do a rehearsal on Friday night so Garrison has a chance to hear what he's written, and then he'll do a rewrite overnight. Sometimes it can be a totally new script for the pre-show rehearsal on Saturday.

en It's tough to hear I was lucky. You don't feel very lucky in a hospital bed with a broken neck. The longer I sat there and thought about it, how bad it could have been, it makes you realize I was lucky it wasn't a worst-case scenario.

en The talent search is a great way for independent singers and bands to expose their music and ministries to new audiences. Kingdom Bound is an established and respected organization, and the talent search is a way for them to help give up-and-coming singers and bands great exposure to tens of thousands of Christian music fans.

en That's very compelling to major groups, the fact that we can entertain groups on site without them having to go over the city. Groups like our meeting space because there's not a lot to divert their attention. We're not across from a major mall where they can get out to avoid attending meetings.

en I'm very proud of him, ... For me, personally, he's certainly one of our very best stories and one of the best baseball stories we've had. I'm always impressed by guys who beat long odds. When you hear these stories of guys who were undrafted as juniors and have beaten the odds by long shots, I think they're great stories.

en Most of our work comes out of the stories or ideas of the people who are creating it. What we do is walk into a rehearsal with an idea, and then we improvise.

en It will be difficult because there isn't a large availability of hotel space near Showplace. And we are competing against existing established convention space.

en It's incredible the number of personal stories that you hear that identify with the issue. You start talking about it and it's amazing how many people have stories to tell.

en I have the background singers of Ray Charles, the background singers of Smokey Robinson, and the background singers of Barry White and I built a choir around that.

en It's just so nice to be downtown for the kids. They stay at the hotels downtown and are central to things the kids can do besides the competition. They learn something, hear great groups, go to clinics and jam sessions... the whole ball of wax.

en It was really nice working with her, ... She's a very sweet little girl. We had a lot of rehearsal time together. When we were just getting to know each other she would tell me stories about her dog and her grandma before we got on with doing scenes together. She worked really hard but seemed to enjoy it. I hope we didn't torture her too much.
