He's really playing his senior year of college in pro football. You can't lose sight of that. I never do when you pick juniors. I share the record with Lenny now, and I'm not a greedy person. If we can win the game and I don't get a touchdown, I'll be fine with that.

There's a lot of pressure, especially being a first-round pick. Fans want action, and they want victories, and they want to see the team be successful. When you come in and you're the first-round pick, they expect big things out of you.

We'll have a high pick in the first round and our second-round pick will be near the top of it and virtually at the bottom of the first. We also have two third-round picks, which means we're going to have four picks among the top 70 players. I think those four picks can have a significant impact.

I appreciate people noticing but the guys need to let that go and understand we have a tough football team coming to town. Now we did lose. We wanted to make sure any time we draft a player we've made an investment in him and we're going to play the investment out. We just needed to see certain things in terms of his progression, irrelevant of him being a first-round pick or a seventh-round pick.

We have had so many injuries and our schedule is very tough. Every time we go out on the court, we have to play well. It is not going to be easy, but we need to pick up a couple of more wins.

It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know.

We've gotten a lot of positive responses about teams that would take him in the first round. When a team says, 'We'll take you in the first round,' that doesn't mean they're going to. That means they would. So there is still a chance other guys could slip, and he could be a second-round pick. He understands that.
