I wasn't watching TV, the Weather Channel was on. I was eating a doughnut and sitting around, talking about what guys talk about in the locker room.

Since Day One, I've been impressed with him, ... When a new guy comes in, I want to check him out and see how he is, see how his attitude is, see if he's willing to be one of us the way we are in this locker room. With Corey, I remember talking to him in the parking lot, talking to him in the locker room and seeing where his mind was at. It was always in the right place, I felt. Never did I think, 'Maybe I should talk to this guy a little more and let him know how it is around here.' I felt he understood how it is from the beginning.

You know he's feeling better because he's eating up everything in the locker room again and he's talking a lot.

I really challenged our guys in the locker room before the game, especially our seniors. Beckham did an outstanding job of talking to the guys in the locker room, and getting them motivated a little bit, and it was the difference in the game.

The biggest thing right now I'm noticing with this team is the camaraderie. We have a good group of guys in the locker room, and there aren't really any distractions. Nobody's coming out to practice late. Nobody's in meetings just talking because they want to talk. Everybody's listening. When Coach says something, they're listening. That's how it's supposed to be, and that's a positive thing to see.

There's no talk in our locker room that we're going back to the NIT. There's no telling what everyone else is thinking, but we know what we think in the locker room.

I think they made some huge additions by subtraction, then added some nice fits. High character, hard working guys. Good locker-room guys. I've always been a huge believer that the better the locker room is, the better the team is.

It feels good we can come in this locker room and talk about a victory instead of talking about another loss to Mike Vick. This is one time. We have to see him again. I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'
