I'm sitting her speechless. ordsprog

en I'm sitting her speechless. And that's not me. I feel at the end of the game I'm powerless. I can't instruct. I can't coach. I can't direct. I'm used to being able to do certain things. Our guys come out on the floor and play a certain way. And none of that is happening right now.

en He's a very smart guy. He understands the game, studies the game. He has a great feel for the game. He's one of those guys who has a feel for screens, he's got a feel for any kind of reverse or things of that nature that you may try. He's always had that. Some guys have it, some guys don't.

en We mostly feel fearful because we feel powerless. We feel powerless, I contend, because of a style of thinking that splits information in two poles that makes us lose all the operative information we need to solve the problem.

en Coach is going to have our backs, good or bad, and I think guys appreciate that. It feels good that your coach is sticking up for you, letting them know how you feel. But at the same time, we need to just play the game instead of complaining and whining about the calls.

en I've said all year - coach is going to make sure the effort is there. He's not going to put guys on the floor that aren't going to play hard. Regardless of the way our situation is, if we had seven, he'd make sure those seven played hard or you don't play. We're going into the game with that mind-set.

en Even though we feel disrespected, even though we feel like this and that, it's all about proven things on the floor. Coach said it best when she said the only way we are gonna gain our respect back is to just start winning.

en I liken what's happening there to what's happening to our men's basketball team and Coach [Dennis] Felton. He's building the program and getting guys who do things right to make a foundation which will last for a long, long time.

en It's been a longer journey than for some of these guys, but what a thrill. I'm from a little town in New Hampshire. It's not that far from Springfield mileage-wise, but it's light years from shoveling snow in the driveway as a kid loving the game. All of a sudden I had an opportunity to play at the college level and coach and do other things. I just feel so privileged to be going into the Hall of Fame.

en We have found 10 guys that want to play together and because of it we are turning things around. Cote Bona had a great floor game for us. He had eight assists and nine rebounds.

en Jordan Payne is an outstanding addition to our program. He is a big-time scorer who can play either guard spot and is a coach on the floor. We feel he gives us an added dimension that we did not have last season and are expecting big things from Jordan next year.

en We're a tough team. We're not afraid of anybody. We're not worried about how young or inexperienced we are. We're trying to do things in practice and trying to listen to Coach Williams. And we feel like if we do those things, if we come out and just leave it on the floor, we can compete with anybody.

en I think you adjust with the players you have. I think we're a talented group that's surprised a lot of people. For myself, I just let those guys play - not worry so much about the little mistakes in the game, more worried about the things that are happening all the time.

en He does all the small things for us. He gets guys in the right spot and is kind of a coach out on the floor.

We were more ready to play than I even thought we were going in. Even during the infield/outfield drills before the game, I don't think we've been that sharp in over two years. That's the kind of things a coach looks for early on. The guys couldn't understand why I was smiling so much before the game started.

en This guy's got bullet speed. So he can do things I can't coach. That no one can coach. He can do things that only guys with that kind of talent can. He'll cover 60 yards at times to make a play. He's intent. And that's what makes him tick. If he ever loses that, he'd be just another guy.
