Kids are just starting ordsprog

We dug ourselves a big hole tonight. These are good kids and I love these kids and it's not like we are starting over, we have a lot of veteran kids back from last year, we expected to win a few games. It's not easy to start 0-2 and starting 0-3 is a lot worse. Praise the Lord we were able to pull this thing off. We were in an absolute funk and I didn't think we were going to stop No. 5 (Curtis) all night long, he was the man out there.

What we also saw today was that some of the kids who have been struggling offensively are starting to come around. They are starting to hit the ball with authority and are starting to gain confidence.

The main thing is our young kids are starting to improve and we're starting to peak at the right time of the year. We're getting a lot of hard work and push from the young kids. Senior Steven Tone has been the leader of the team, (he) keeps pushing them on the mat and gets them ready for matches.

The gap is starting to close a little bit with these younger kids. Obviously some of these younger kids are starting to accept the challenge of moving up.

What's happening is the coaching staff is bonding and the kids are starting to believe. All the hard work is really starting to pay off.

We had a lot of kids who got a lot of minutes out there tonight. I think our depth is starting to develop a little bit. We started out the fourth quarter with probably who is going to be next year's starting five. And they did alright.

We're starting to find that there are some young kids starting to step up.

I just feel good for my kids. We've been on them. We've been telling them to believe. They've got to continue to believe. The definition of keeping the faith is 'belief without proof.' And we're starting to prove it. The work and effort is starting to pay off.

We're going to continue to grow. We've got a lot of new kids playing starting roles for us. Every week those kids are only going to get stronger and more used to the varsity speed and we're going to get better in the end. All the kids wrestled exceptionally well. We had eight kids who went undefeated. Out of seven teams there, there were (16) kids undefeated and we had eight of them. They're all starting to pick it up.
