en The way the Republicans have done it is actually quite dangerous. They think we should do it in a broad block grant that if you read their proposal could actually be used for vouchers, ... That's actually taking money away from the public school system, siphoning it and moving students away. We think there ought to be more teachers in the classroom, lower the class size and we should move away from ideas like vouchers.

en I have always been interested in innovative and cutting edge-technologies coupled with a large market opportunity.

en It's just absolutely unfair. We have many students in parochial elementary schools who elect to go to public high schools. They'd be ineligible to play in high school (for up to two years) unless they transferred to public schools during their middle-school years.

en Now it seems all so familiar, but at the time it was cutting edge and we were grouped with all that independent film stuff, Vince and I and (director) Doug Liman too, and Ron, we've hit the mainstream as we're closing in on 40 years old and now we're the system.
