en I think it was a dose of realism for everybody about where he is. You have to suddenly look at your game and say 'how do I get it to the next level and the level after that?' You have to be able to deal with those sort of failures to come out stronger and better. He took a good, long look at everything and that paid off in San Jose.

en Robbie had a great tournament, he's 20-1. His only loss was to a kid from Pennsylvania, 14-7. But he learned a lot. He learned he's got to keep his head the same level as his opponent. He's tall, and the kid kept hitting him with low, single-leg shots. He adjusted, though and won his next two matches.

en I think it helped give us some experience. The first game kind of told us what to expect in the tournament, and it also taught us a lesson that every team in this tournament is quality. We have to be ready to play.

en We don't know much about them. I'm sure we will by the time of the game, but we will try to play our level no matter who the opponent is.

en Our bench allows us to go the whole game without losing a beat. We proved again in this year's tournament that we're able to tire the opponent out and still stay fresh.
