He probably throws the ball a little better than Vincent, but he doesn't run it as well yet,

He doesn't fool around out there, does he? He gets the ball and throws it. This guy learned how to put different pressure points on the ball to make the ball move. This guy is the best I've ever seen.

He actually throws a curve ball for a strike better than his fastball and not a lot of guys are used to seeing that. Then Josh Bradshaw came in and did a good job on the mound. He throws the ball over the plate. He's pretty fearless.

There's a saying we always say in practice that the ball doesn't lie, and he went up there and missed the first (three) free throws.

He almost never throws a ball over the middle of the plate and still doesn't walk anyone.

He's getting a lot more comfortable throwing the ball. His range is what it is. He has quick, good hands, but I think the throwing part was something he didn't appear to have a lot of confidence. Now, he doesn't hesitate. He picks up a ground ball and throws to second.

I expect him to be a great player and nothing less. When he doesn't live up to that expectation, I'm not a happy person. I'm not happy when he throws interceptions like he did today in the red zone. That has to stop if we're going to win. It doesn't matter how good he plays, if he keeps turning the ball over we're not going to win.

He doesn't miss, he's tall, he throws the ball on a line, and he's the total package, as they say.
