en I think he's purely earned it. Take a look at his experience; he's been to two Olympics, how many World Cups (2), and how many World Championships (2). I kind of expected this all along.

en Two days ago when Puerto Rico beat Cuba, everybody said that was a knockout and Cuba was already out and gone for the whole championship, whole tournament. Cuba is not gone. Cuba is still here to play, and whoever wants to beat Cuba will really have to sweat it out.

en The President did not demand us to win the tournament, but he told us that we should play well, and teach the world how baseball is played in Cuba.
