Looking back at Tennessee, it wasn't the smartest thing to do. Whenever I'm healthy enough to go, I'll be out there. The ankle is still sore, but it's a lot better than it was.

He's one of the smartest baseball players I've ever been around. Not just one of the smartest pitchers ... the smartest player. He sees thing very few people see.

I didn't know what to expect today. I was sore when I got up this morning, and I was really sore after the game last night. But it wasn't pain and that's the important thing.

I think we should go into the tournament pretty healthy. My ankle is pretty much back to normal, and Tyrus should be back to normal once we get there. So I think we'll be all right. Even though we lost, it's a good thing that we get some extra days rest rather than playing Sunday. We have a little bit more time to prepare for this trip.

We thought he was missing a step. He said his hamstring was sore as well as his ankle. But he's been getting it treated and you can see it starting to come back in practice.

As long as I was on the floor, I was going to play like I was healthy. If you think you're hurt, you'll play hurt. I didn't have the same jumping ability so I had to smarten up on how to get my shots to fall. I think the ankle will be a little sore tomorrow.

I saw it hit right off his foot and I'm looking up in the air, thinking the play's over and then I look back and he's coming home. I couldn't get my feet set. I was off balance and tried to throw it. That wasn't the smartest thing in the world. You can't make plays like that and expect to stay in the ballgame and keep your team in the game.

Ankle's good, but I'm just dealing with some issues with my knee because of my ankle, ... Since it went bad, my ankle, my knee got a little weak. Well, weaker than it has been in the past...I was so angry (during the match), I just wanted to crack every racket. But I didn't do it. That's a plus...I wasn't even moving to any balls. I have tomorrow off so maybe that can help but I'll have to see what my therapist says.

The ankle is not doing any better. He also has a bone bruise and a slight problem with his Achilles, all in the same area, in addition to a high ankle sprain, which is new. Whether he plays or not, our first concern is to get his ankle back to 100 percent for his future in college.

I feel great today, ... I'm not sore, my ankle feels great. I haven't felt like this since last April, before I hurt my ankle. I don't have any limitations from a preparation standpoint or a work standpoint.

His main weakness has been not being able to stay healthy. It's never been anything serious, a sore this, a sore that, but he needs to stay healthy all year.

This wasn't the smartest thing for the guys to organize, but my client didn't do that. It was really blown out of proportion.

I think some people need rest. We've got a couple people with injuries. I have a sore heel. Hilton (Armstrong) has a sore ankle. And a couple of us are tired from playing the tough games we had late in the year. I think it'll be good for us.

He was off balance when he went up and I blocked his shot. And he kind of just rolled on it. Right now, I'm just trying to determine how bad it is and take it day-by-day. It's more of my Achilles, it's not like a sprained ankle, it's in the back on my heel and Achilles. It's just extremely sore.
