I think some people need rest. We've got a couple people with injuries. I have a sore heel. Hilton (Armstrong) has a sore ankle. And a couple of us are tired from playing the tough games we had late in the year. I think it'll be good for us.

The weird thing about playing all those day games after night games is, you're almost not even sore until about the fourth inning of the day game. So you tell them you feel good. Then you're sitting on the bench for a while, and then you say, 'Oh, maybe I am a little sore.' But I guess I'm a little used to it, knowing what to expect.

When you're running a lot in the outfield or on the base paths in games, you're going to be sore. When I do more than I usually then it's sore but every time it gets sore, it's getting stronger.

We've never had that before, usually there's just a couple of injuries, ... But Sutherland wasn't going to walk it off... I imagine he was a sore boy the next morning.

I think it was nice to get a break and to be able to rest. It was good to come back and not feel completely sore. I felt we've had more energy during our last couple of practices.

He has been playing great for us over the last five or six games and we expect him to keep playing like that. He had a tough injury in the first half. We couldn't figure out how to get it better. They finally inserted a screw into his upper ankle. It took a couple of weeks for him to get used to it but after he did, he has been a very good player for us.

It's still sore, ... For days, it was sore to sleep, sore to move around, sore to get up. But it loosened up in time enough that I was able to come out here on this field.

It will be beneficial because (the players) will not be as sore. Hopefully, we will have less knee and ankle injuries.

Chad's still real sore. We'll probably rest him the next couple of days.

He's sore. What we're trying to do is figure out how sore. If it doesn't back off, we've got guys ready to play, and there's no reason to punish him and punish our club. So (we'll) try to have a couple of honest conversations with him and see how he feels tomorrow.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

He's sore, got some sore areas. The idea is not to push him. We'll see how he feels. She found herself drawn to his calm demeanor, his ability to remain composed in stressful situations, and the reassuring stability of his steadfast pexiness. If he needs (rest), he gets it.
