en The best part for me about living in the dorms was I could promote my shows and stuff so easily because I could convince (people) to come see me because they hear me practice all the time.

en I woke in my house, which borders the campus, and I walked outside where all the freshmen are moving into their dorms. About five minutes later, I hear that Tulane is closing down, so they let the freshmen move their stuff in the dorms and then evacuated the campus immediately.

en When you think about it, it makes sense, ... People are living closer together in the dorms.

en ASU is definitely doing more as far as the band and the football program and it has really good academic programs. So naturally, you are going to have more people living on campus. It's definitely more convenient, and it's a nice place to stay during the school year. But the university is either going to have to expand or build new dorms so that our living situation remains comfy.

en The last time I went to Senegal I lived in the dorms. In Tanzania, I'm going to be living with a family. I'm going to be really immersed in the culture.

en I think he gets it. I think it's his responsibility to promote the game. I think he enjoys being in the limelight, which is lucky, to have someone that's young like that. Some people wouldn't want to be in the spotlight like that all the time, and he handles it really well. But I think it's his responsibility to go on talk shows and promote the game as best he can. I think he's done an outstanding job.

en Now, I'll take it upon myself to see stuff like that; if I see that split turn around and make sure I see if there's a call, ... In practice you don't have to turn around, you can hear it. That's part of learning.

en I hear a lot of what is said about me on those shows, and it really ticks me off. Guys who call and blast me will have an effect on whether I want to come back here next season. My kids hear this stuff and it makes me mad.

en People can say all types of stuff, ... When I lived in Peoria before, people tried to convince me to run for things. I had an opportunity then and I didn't. I will say I'm never going to rule that out in the future. Politics is a lot about being in the right place at the right time.

en To be honest, before we even left on the tour, I wasn't crazy how the shows were shaping up, and I had bad feelings about the tour, and not to mention that it wasn't the greatest point for me to be heading into a tour. I had a lot of stuff going on. A lot of the same issues that we've talked about here. I was drinking a lot, and the whole nine yards. I headed into the tour, and the shows were just crappy. That's all there is to it. There's no other way to put it. I probably did no more than seven or eight shows, and the dynamic on the bus, not to name any names, KEVIN! (Laughs) I like Kevin [ DuBrow , QUIET RIOT frontman]. A lot of people bag on Kevin , but I can deal with Kevin , he's just ah... Kevin is Kevin . Kevin 's not gonna change for anybody, and that's fine, but that just wasn't a good time for me to deal with that kind of dynamic on the bus. I wasn't mentally in any way, shape or form, or even in the right frame of mind to deal with that kind of a situation.
